What a lovely project, Katherine! I so appreciate the difficulty of diving in. The tasks that seem so daunting that I put them off for way too long often turn out to be much less difficult and more rewarding than I imagined. Speaking of which, there's a hexi cushion kit calling to me....

I’m excited to see your lovely little quilt! It is a labor of joy and perseverance! Once that needle got into your paws, you were done for! Hope you continue to play in Quiltland!

I’ve been collecting supplies and tools for embellishing a jeans jacket! Got Liberty Tana Lawn cotton waiting for me. I found a US source called Duckadilly in Michigan which has Liberty . I’ve pulled a load and books and patterns from my personal library for inspiration! Also wool flannel 5” squares to integrate into some appliqué motifs. ! Next week I’ll be jumping in!

OK, sure, I’m a bit late to the party. Not for either the first or last time, I’m sure.

Now that I’m here, have you tried the Threadloop app? I stumbled across it on IG, haven’t delved further but now it is out of beta I’m planning to give it a try. From the outside it looks to have some of the same features as Ravelry, but for sewing. It seems to have options for keeping track of your fabric stash, and curated lists of patterns, which both sound very useful. What I’m hoping for though is a pattern search function, ideally with honest reviews. That’s a really useful feature of Ravelry but I haven’t found an equivalent for sewing patterns.
