Someday I'll need to mend a sock, but it hasn't happened yet. I knit so many, and wear each pair so little, that they don't seem to wear out. I still have the first pair of socks I knit 10 years ago!
ETA: this is my year to knit socks for others, so I am definitely in on Make Socks Mend Socks 2024.
Can't wait to take part. I have at 3 pairs to mend and would like to add 4 pairs to my drawer... the aim is one pair per season.
