And I'll go first! I've picked up a lovely pair of sportweight socks I was working on as my out and about project (pictures above) and I'd really love to finish them this quarter. My sock drawer is feeling skimpy again too, and my mending pile is giving me the side eye ... I can't remember the last time I grabbed a pair from it. So I'd like to rectify it this quarter!

I made a goal at the start of the year and then have totally forgotten to come back and write any updates.

My goal was to knit a pair of socks every month and........ I'm happy to report that I've made 8 pairs so far! Have basically had a sock on the needles all year, so I'm taking a little break and will pick up again in August

This is amazing going Kathryn! What great discipline … seems you’ve definitely earned a sock break! Do you have a go to pattern or have you varied it as you’ve gone?

Thank you! I'm feeling very proud that I haven't fallen behind on this one. A few Summer Lee patterns and a few vanilla pairs to experiment with different heels and toes. My next pair will be a Helen Stewart one.

That sounds like a lovely variety!

My goal was a pair each month also. I've managed all but one (the month of hats!). Might need to knit a Fair Isle pair for Shetland Wool Week...

My goal was to knit 4 pairs and in theory I've achieved and I'm onto my 5th pair. One pair going off in the mail today to a lovely friend and need to rip out the toe of another pair and knit longer but of course in the meantime I've got carried away and cast on TWO new pairs 🤣 yay for sock making
